The 2005 season was a hard challenge to get through. The race car was the only car that did not break down. A couple of weeks after the season started, my road car broke down and I had to spend some money on it to get back on the road. After it was fixed, the truck looses a motor and so we got another one but it was worse than the one that we lost. I discovered that it was abused and put together the wrong way before I got it.  Then I got another one and this one was a good one. It runs like new and just broken in. The truck was down most all of the 2005 season.

I could not wait for the year to be over with because of all the vehicle problems we had. I felt like we were getting past the problems and the beginning of one of the races, I was thanking God  for keeping the race car together so we could enjoy it. I just truly thanked God and the race car ended up hitting the wall just at the exit of turn #4. My dad was driving the car at the time of the crash. Then the season got real bad because my dad got a broken wrist from that one and the work on getting another car together or fixing that one was not getting done.

It was a long winter and spring because I could not do all the work myself. I needed my dad to help with some of it. After he was healed back up, we did finish up another car to race for mid 2006.
